1. Content of on-line offering

The author shall undertake no guarantee whatsoever for the currentness, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author which refer to damages of a material or immaterial nature caused by use or non-use of the information presented or through the use of faulty and incomplete information are fundamentally excluded, provided that no demonstrably intentional or grossly negligent fault exists on the part of the author.  All offers are subject to confirmation and non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to alter, amend, delete or cease publication temporarily or permanently parts of pages or the entire offering without making a special announcement.

In the case of direct or indirect references to other websites ("hyperlinks") which are outside the area of responsibility of the author, liability would only come into force if the author has knowledge of the contents and it would be technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent the use of illegal content.  The author hereby expressly declares that at the time links were made there was no illegal content on the respective linked sites. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current or future design, or the content of the linked/connected pages. Therefore he expressly disassociates himself from all content of all linked/connected pages which have been changed since the links were made to the aforesaid linked/connected pages. This statement is valid for all links and references within his own internet offering and for external entries in guest books set up by the author, discussion forums and mailing lists. The provider of the pages which were referenced is solely liable for illegal, incorrect or incomplete contents and, in particular, for damages which result from the use or non-use of such offered information, and not the person who merely makes reference to the particular publication via a link.

3. Copyright and trademark law

It should not be assumed that, simply because a brand is named, the trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties. The copyright for published material created by the author remains the sole property of the author of the pages.
